The good life

I don't mind moving over to blogger from AOL at all. I like it here. I hope JC and Brandy will continue to write (I know JC is busy at the moment and Brandy has a handful of kids to care for along with a full time job) so their blogging is bound to be light to non-existent for a while but I know that I will write from time to time because it makes me happy.

Speaking of happy....the weather today is spectacular. I just got back from running some errands and I've opened all the windows to let the fresh air in. It's been at least since April since we've been able to do that. I love the south and the heat and the sun, but it's nice when Fall rolls around and we get a little break from the wall of heat that meets us every time we step outside. And we're finally seeing some gas being available after about 20 days of most gas stations being completely dry. I'd much rather be out of gas than lose my home to a hurricane so I count my blessings where I find them.

So, yeah, I'm happy. Life is good!

Really my only bitch about blogger is the issue we've had with our passwords and such.

I hope to be able to pick up some more writing once football/softball season is over with because between those two and work it's damn near impossible. At least I have a job though that I do have the freedom I do otherwise I would totally go nuts.

Glad you guys finally got some gas, we are still really low around here as well and that sucks.

I've had the windows open for the past two days because it has been so wonderful here weather wise.

Hope the rest of your day is a great one!

I'm so excited that you seem to be able to at least comment!!!

When I went out earlier, all the stations that have been dry for weeks all seem to have at least regular gas (no premium). I hope your problem eases up soon because I know how stressful it is looking for gas to get you where you need to go.

It was 90 here yesterday. I think we're supposed to get some cooler weather tonight and tomorrow. I can't wait. It makes me so happy and energized.

It's definitely been bad both for me and Beau's job because he needs diesel fuel and we're even out of that here, lol. Unreal but I'm sure that will change too so I'm rolling with it.

I love this time of year. We may not get the pretty "fall" look but we do get some great weather!

I like it here, thanks for making the change for us!

Yep, I'm busy but hopefully there will be some free time to slip in an entry or two now and then. I have to create a password I guess but will figure that all out later.

The weather here is brisk and wonderful. A bit too breezy at the moment but the chill air makes for a good morning run! Enjoy your weather and hope you and B are doing well. We're at a standstill here with a few things but busy just the same. Moreso a waiting pattern that will hopefully change next week.

I'll be talking to you both soon~

As I was trying to copy and save all of my old AOL journal entries, I happened upon your "new" AOL journal (which for all I know has existed for years...), and of course your link to this new journal. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon this because I used to read Karen and JC's journals regularly, and you both stopped in at mine when I was writing frequently (TheDuchessofDirt).

I'm glad you're safe from the weather...
