Team McCain/Palin!!!!

I voted.

Now I'm just sitting in my boring, middle class suburban home, bitterly clinging to my guns and my religion waiting for the outcome.

~~~~~~~~~~~
My husband and I were in line at our voting center at 6:45 AM. The line was out through the parking lot of the church then down the street. I'd estimate that there were 150-200 people in front of me. Everyone was very civil. We were given sample ballots to read and I kept mine figuring it will be a collector item no matter who wins or loses, plus I wanted my youngest daughter to see it. We had to fill out a sheet of paper with our name, address and signature verifying we were who we said we were informing us that it was a criminal offense if we were trying to defraud anyone. My information was verified by computer, and I actually got in to vote at about 8:10 AM. They had 10 computerized voting machines that were easy to use and voting was quick. We did not see or hear anyone trying to persuade anyone else-no intimidation or questions. It was an all around good experience. I hope it was the same for you!
Yes I too will be clinging to my religion and all my guns, lmao.
I haven't gotten to go just yet. I have to have the hubby back at the surgeon's office at 1:30 and then after that is done we are headed to the poll and it will be MCCAIN/PALIN for me. From then I will go home and lovingly caress my guns while quoting biblical scripture.
Glad your experience went well, I do not look for issues at ours either. I will have to take a chair for the hubby in the event of long lines.
There wasn't anyone passing out palm cards at my voting center either, which surprised me.
I guess I lucked out...there were only two people in line in front of me, and I was out of there in less than ten minutes!
